Antivirus Software Tests - Antivirus Software Comparison

We release our tests every three months. The test presented on this page is the last one we performed. There were examined the main capabilities of antivirus programs. These are detection rate and scan time rate.

We updated and upgraded the programs to their latest versions. There were used all the scanning capabilities of antivirus programs.

To achieve the maximum rate of detection we didn’t use the default settings. There were tested the highest protection settings.

There were chosen 534072 virus samples. These were selected according the reports of Nod32, Kaspersky, Dr.Web, F-Prot and McAfee programs. Virus samples were unique by virus name. It means that at least one of the programs tested detected the virus as a new one.
